Questions, answered.
Is my data ever sent to you?
No. There is no Glance cloud. The only data that leaves your server goes to the AI provider you configure — OpenAI or Gemini — using your own key, for the AI features. Or run fully local LLMs and nothing leaves your servers at all. Everything else stays on your machine.
Do I need to be technical to run it?
You need someone comfortable running one Docker command on a server. After that, every setting — keys, Google, Slack, your team — is configured in the browser through a guided checklist. And if you'd rather not touch a server at all, we can run a dedicated instance for you.
Can you host it for us?
Yes. With managed hosting we run a dedicated, single-tenant instance for you — your own isolated database, your own model keys, billed yearly. Same product, same privacy; we handle deploys, updates, and backups.
What if we need a module Glance doesn’t have?
Two ways, and most teams use the first. We build it for you — you describe the process, we ship it as a proper module with its own screens and data, usually in a few weeks, at a fixed price agreed up front. Or your team builds it — you own the source, and Glance ships a Plugin SDK: self-contained plugins with their own tables and UI, guard-railed access to core data, and room in the sidebar. The codebase is structured for AI coding tools, so pointing Claude Code, Codex or Cursor at it works well.
What size team is it for?
Built for teams up to around 150 people. It runs comfortably on a single small server, with no external database to operate. The UI is modern and fast, and works smoothly on desktop and mobile alike.
What does the one-time price cover?
The full source, a commercial license for internal use, all 1.x updates, the bundled Mac & PC meeting recorder (captures meetings in Zoom, Meet, Slack huddles — any app, straight into Glance), and install help. A future major version (2.0) is a discounted paid upgrade.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes, twice over. First, request a demo and we’ll walk you through it on your own use case. Then, if you want to feel it on your own team, start a $500 pilot: 60 days of the full product — run as a Docker image on your server or hosted by us — with install help included. If you buy, the $500 is fully credited toward your license and your pilot data moves with you. Glance also ships with a self-contained demo mode you can explore on your own.
